C.A.S.A. Events Diary
This page provides information about our forthcoming events, all of which do require pre-booking. We normally aim to run 12 to 14 events during the year, numbers at each event may be restricted. Details of recently held events can be found here.
The first section shows the current events for which bookings can be made now. The final section contains advance information about future events which are still in the planning stage - details may change - significantly!
Please note any 'last booking date' shown for an event, if none is shown then we need to receive bookings a minimum of 7 days before the function.
Tips/Gratuities:
We have previously included an allowance for this in the advertised price, however following suggestions from members this policy has changed. For all events AFTER the 2024 AGM we will no longer do this. Instead we will 'pass the hat' around towards the end of the event to collect a completely optional gratuity which will go directly to the staff.
We are unable to accept any plastic cards or cheques in payment at events which are thus "cash on arrival" only.
Driving directions to the venue and a road map will normally be added to the description about 10 days before each event. If you want a 'personal' copy of the instructions for an event please use the contact-us page to request a PDF version, at least two days in advance please.
We always try to provide 'GPS' and 'What Three Words' location information, these are usually for the best parking place rather than the inside of a restaurant and may be more accurate than any provided by other sources - we do check them! If using a 'search' function to find an event (e.g. Google a restaurant) make sure it gives you the correct place - there may well be two places with the same name in the same general area.

If neither of these is possible for you then members may contact any committee member who will be happy to help.

If the golf is not of interest but the lunch is
then Lunch and one drink is available at €18.
We were unable to arrange the usual Car Treasure Hunt
this year, we hope it will return for 2025.
Those members currently holding the three Silver Cups
may optionally hold them for an additional year or
return them to any committee member.

Starter:
- Goujons of hake served with tartar sauce or
- Baked Camembert and forest red berries wrapped in filo pastry or
- Tomato and Basil Soup with crème fresh or
- Smoked salmon
Main course:
- The Traditional Christmas Roast Turkey with all those trimmings or
- The Roast Beef alternative or
- Bream served with a pesto crust or
- Seabass served with prawns in a lemon citrus sauce
Sweets:
- Traditional Christmas Pudding with a brandy sauce or
- Carrob Tart with lemon (gluten-free)
Coffee and Mince Pie
Includes: Welcome drink, water, wine or two beers.
All this (and more) for the remarkable price of only
€50.00 per person (€55.00 for non-members and guests)
This is the same as the last two years!
We will be doing table plans for the lunch, so if you want to sit on
the same table as special friends, please tell us when you book,
we will do our best to accommodate you.
There will be a maximum of eight people per table.
Maximum for the lunch is 50 people.
