C.A.S.A. Events Diary

This page provides information about our forthcoming events, all of which require pre-booking. We normally aim to run 12 to 14 events during the year, numbers at each event may be restricted. Details of recently held events can be found here.

The first section shows the current events for which bookings can be made now. The final section contains advance information about future events which are still in the planning stage - details may change - significantly!

Please note any 'last booking date' shown for an event, if none is shown then we need to receive bookings a minimum of 7 days before the function. Some events may be limited due to facilities' capacities.

Tips/Gratuities:

We have previously included an allowance for this in the advertised price, however following suggestions from members this policy has changed. For all events AFTER the 2024 AGM we will no longer do this. Instead we will 'pass the hat' around towards the end of the event to collect an optional gratuity which will go directly to the staff.

Driving directions to the venue and a road map will normally be added to the description about 10 days before each event. If you want a 'personal' copy of the instructions for an event please use the contact-us page to request a PDF version, at least two days in advance please.

We always try to provide 'GPS' and 'What Three Words' location information, these are usually for the best parking place rather than the inside of a restaurant and may be more accurate than any provided by other sources - we do check them! If using a 'search' function to find an event (e.g. Google a restaurant) make sure it gives you the correct place - there may well be two places with the same name in the same general area.

If neither of these is possible for you then members may contact any committee member who will be happy to help.

Some future events may be available for pre-registration to gage interest and inform the venues of the potential number to expect. No payments will be due until the event is open for booking.

Upcoming Events!

October 17

Let's go Karting at the Kartodromo do Alagrve.

This is an addidtional event coupled with lunch afterwards. The karting participants will have enough time to get their adrenelin fix and join the others immediately afterward. There is an excellent viewing deck at the track if you just want to watch the craziness. The fun begins at the track at 10:30 am. What Three Words: scornful.hating.jeeps. The karting is a pay-as-you-play cost directly to the track, but lunch is payable through our at the event or our Revolute account. Cost can vary depending on the number of sessions (we will have time for at least three, depending on the total number of racers also on the track) and the engine size that you dare to pilot. Reserve at bookings@casasocial.club. Please mention the event and the date as well as whether you are karting and/or dining with us.

Lunch will be at Olivers Restaurant Brasileiro on the N266, about 10 minutes from the track. We will be at Oliver's at 1pm: What Three Words location: hogwash.joystick.abetted

Registration is open now and closes at 1 pm on 14/10/2025.

November

This month we will be hosted by Tribulum on November 19th. What Three Words location: leads.sedans.exploratory

Welcome drink (a spiced pumpkin cocktail) at 12:30 with lunch Following.

As usual drinks (coffee, water, wine and beer) are included. The price is 50 for members and 55 for non-members. Payment is through the club's Revolute account and at the event. Please specify your menu choices when making your booking/payment. Booking closes November 14th at 1pm.

December

We will once again be enjoying a feast at Thyme Restaurant in Alvor on December 13 at 12:30 for drinks and socializing, and 1pm for lunch. Your choices are below. Please select one of each.
